There are times in which I find myself playing too many hardcore games and I need a chance to sit down and relax. Well, here’s something I found that is perfect for your Kids and your relaxation. MoonBeeps: Hide and Seek is a very simple game of…. well….. hide and seek. Pretty self-explanatory. But the art style and overall “cuteness” of this game is where it excels. This review will be fairly brief as there isn’t much that needs to be reviewed, but I just wanted parents to know that this game existed.
The Sky Gamblers series has been around a while in the mobile gaming universe. Recently, the series was released for the Apple TV in the way of it’s racing game, Sky Gamblers Races. Though this effort was well done, it was not the dogfighting perfection I personally wanted from Atypical Games. Finally, they have released a proper air warfare game for the Apple TV. Sky Gamblers: Infinite Jets is a great addition to the growing number of flight sim/fighter games showing up on our beloved gaming device.
Yep…. You read that right. I am going to do a top 5 list! I sold out. Sorry! Lol!
The Apple TV has some great First and Third person shooters and I want to share my opinion of which ones are in my top 5. If you have played them and you don’t agree… Too bad. Write your own top 5 list! Lol! Just kidding. Again this is just my opinion. If you have not played these games, you might want to check out some of them.
Well…. Xander Davis just made all of us dedicated Apple TV gamers a very exclusive club. The first episode of VAST: Cosmic Treasure Hunters, is out on the Apple TV 4K as we speak as a timed exclusive and I am pleased as hell! Here is my review of the first episode and my thoughts on it’s hopeful future.
Plane crash? Check. Stranded on your own in a strange place? Check. Looting? Check. Zombies? Check. First and third person switchable? Check. Pretty cool game? That’s up to you. ;)
Mythology has been a favorite subject of mine since I was a kid in school in the early 80’s. Gods of Rome has been out for iOS for a while, but was just recently released on the Apple TV. I wanted to play the game on my iPad Pro, but there was no controller support and I just cannot use touchscreen controls, so when it was released for Apple TV with controller support, I immediately grabbed my Nimbus controller and got to work.
Ok, Ok…. So, you want a fast-moving, twin-stick, manga-style, mech space shooter?! Oh, and you want it to be good?! Well, guess what? RealTech VR has the Apple TV covered. It’s everything you wanted and quite a bit more even if the game is a bit short. Here’s my review of the newly updated and smoothly animated game, Quantum Revenge from RealTech VR.
Formula 1 is one of the worlds best known and most popular forms of motorsport. It may not be as well known here in the US, but I have been a fan since I was introduced to it in the late 80’s. The cars were beautifully violent and I was instantly hooked. You can imagine my surprise when I saw that F1 ended up on our beloved Apple TV! Here’s my review of F1 2016 from Codemasters.
